Arjan Brass - Leonie

Tahu lagu bejudul Leonie? Tahu dong itu lagu sendu berdurasi 4:05, hit sekali dirilis tahun 1976 dibawah label Negram yang melantunkannya adalah Arjan Brass. Tapi siapakah Arjan Brass itu? Penyanyi juga pianis dan saxofonis asal Belanda ini lahir tgl 11 Juni 1951 (kemarin hari ulang tahunnya ke 61) di Delft pernah bergabung anggota beberapa band. Akhir 60an bergabung dengan The First Six, tahun 1970 bergabung dengan The Fashions kemudian The Statues dan akhirnya dengan Soul Fire. Tahun 1971 dengan The Statues mengeluarkan singel Can't Find a Way Arjan sebagai vokalis (anggota lainnya Ritty van Straelen [aka Ritty McGarritty] (vokal,drums), Herman Langelaan (gitar), Ben Bos (bas) hehe.. lucu ya, dan Piet Rutger (keyboard)).

Tahun 1973 Arjan merilis singel pertamanya Tommorow . Kemudian tahun 1976 sukses mengkomposisi  sendiri Leonie dan The Rain Keeps Falling (2 Trek). Arjan Brass setahun kemudian merilis single Annabelle dalam dua versi bahasa Belanda dan Inggris dan singel Samuel.akhir tahun 1977.

Setelah tahun 1977 Arjan lebih fokus menulis untuk artis lain dan bekerja sebagai musisi dan backing vokal. Namanya mendukung The Care Bears dan Dr. Snuggles. Tahun 1991 membuat cd dari lagu-lagu populer seperti Nothing Compares 2 U, Verdammt, ich lieb "dich dan Unchained Melody tampil sebagai pemain saksofon. Di akhir hidupnya Arjan memiliki perusahan Arjan Brass Music Production untuk melayani pesta-pesta dan pernikahan. 28 Desember 2007 Arjan meninggal di kota asalnya Nieuwegein dan dikremasi tanggal 2 Januari 2008.
