Procol Harum adalah kelompok musik Inggris yang dibentuk pada tahun 1960-an dan dikenal lewat lagu mereka "A Whiter Shade of Pale". Mereka terpengaruh oleh musik klasik, blues, dan pop. Mereka berawal dari band The Paramounts, dipimpin oleh Gary Brooker dan Robin Trower. Setelah band ini bubar, pada April 1967 Brooker membentuk Procol Harum dengan Keith Reid, Matthew Fisher, Ray Royer, dan David Knights. Mereka merekam "A Whiter Shade of Pale" dan menerbitkannya pada 12 Mei 1967. Setelah kesuksesan single ini, mereka tur dengan menjadi band pembuka Jimi Hendrix.

Procol Harum memadukan gaya vokal Brooker yang melankolis dan permainan organ Fisher yang terpengaruh Johann Sebastian Bach. Mereka bubar pada 1977 namun bergabung kembali pada 1991 dengan Brooker, Fisher, Trower, dan Reid (Wilson meninggal pada 1990). Nama mereka dipilih oleh manajer Guy Stevens.
